SUBMISSION INSTRUCIONS

Important information for camera ready papers: It is highly recommended to submit LaTeX SOURCE files as requested by Springer in correct format. For converting of the files from other formats there is a fee of CZK 1500. There is also a limit for the length of a paper - 8 pages. However, if you need an extra page, there is a fee of CZK 1000 per extra page (exceeding the limit). We tried to lower the general fee for the conference, but converting of your papers and extra pages are additional expenses. We believe that you understand that it is a fair approach that allows to lower the fee for all that are able to follow the rules. At the same time we have to emphasize that papers that do not conform to the Springer specifications and for whose the fee for conversion or extra pages was not paid will unfortunately have to be excluded from publication. You can easily recognize the correct format since it covers only part of the A4 page (the real book is smaller). If you have any doubts, please feel free to contact us.

When preparing the camera ready papers, please take into account the reviewers' comments. We reserve the right NOT TO PUBLISH papers that were accepted with lower marks and reviewers' requests for modifications which were not taken into account.

Authors are invited to submit a full paper not exceeding 8 pages formatted in the LNCS style (see below). Those accepted will be presented either orally or as posters. The decision about the presentation format will be based upon the recommendation of reviewers. The authors are asked to submit their papers using the on-line submission interface accessible from the SPECOM website (see the SUBMISSION PROCEDURE paragraph below).

Papers submitted to SPECOM 2013 must not be under review by any other conference or publication during the SPECOM review cycle, and must not be previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere.

As the reviewing will be blind, the paper should not include the authors' names and affiliations. Furthermore, self-references that reveal the author's identity, e.g., "We previously showed (Smith, 1991) ...", should be avoided. Instead, use citations such as "Smith previously showed (Smith, 1991) ...". Papers that do not conform to the requirements above are subject to be rejected without review.

The authors are strongly encouraged to write their papers in TeX or LaTeX formats. These formats are necessary for the final versions of the papers that will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes series. Authors using a MS Word-compatible software for the final version must use the LNCS template for MS Word and within the submit process ask the Proceedings Editors to convert the paper to LaTeX format. For this service a service-and-license fee of CZK 1500 will be levied automatically.

The paper format for review has to be either PDF or PostScript file with all required fonts included. Upon notification of acceptance, presenters will receive further information on submitting their camera-ready and electronic sources (for detailed instructions on the final paper format see http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0.)

Authors are also invited to present actual projects, developed software or interesting material relevant to the topics of the conference. The presenters of the demonstration should provide the abstract not exceeding one page. The demonstration abstracts will not appear in the conference proceedings.
